Thank you, Hulk.

Smart move by the hulkster to block Bret Hart. Hart would have been a lockerroom nigtmare for the boys.

Hulk > Hart

Bret Hart is just jealous of Hulk Hogan.

Hogan is completely full of shit just like all TNA marks.

hogan did not block bret , bret block him self because he wanted nothing to do with crappy tna and hogan , hogan ran from bret for years and never wanted to get in the ring with him, bret hart is the best there is and hogan never wanted to put bret over, hart is a real wrestler hogan was nothing but a roid user, and all hogan cares about is money, for all you hogan fans you know nothing about true wrestling and are all marks....

The TNA viral marketers are out in full force again, I see. Hulk is a cunt and TNA fans are less intelligent than single cell organisms.

wow, Hulk does tell outright lies.

Odd how nobody really ever has anything good to say about Bret, but he seems to bring it on himself by being so bitter.

Are you people serious? Hart a locker room nightmare? When Hogan single-handedly destroyed Roode's push? You turds are ridiculous. Tell me one time since Bret's return that he's rubbed the guys the wrong way? I sure can't think of any

Posted By: Bill (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 11:08 AM

Hogan and Bret are both too big of marks for themselves to really pick a side. Also I think Hogan and Austin would have been a horrible match.

Cue Bret calling bullshit on this is 3... 2... 1...

Posted By: CREAM (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 11:16 AM

Because I'm sure Bret was dying to go there instead of going to WWE on the same night you debuted in TNA and having almost 3x the amount of viewers watching his return.

I'm sorry but I just can't bring myself to believe a word that comes out of this joker's mouth. And it's baffling to me that he can't see why Bret might have issues with him. I'm not making excuses for Bret either because he's become a bit of a pill himself but HH is living in some alternate reality that he creates day to day. Seriously.

Posted By: Guest#0150 (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 11:18 AM

So now the Hulkster came up with Bret's catchphrase? Was that before or after he taught Steve Austin how to do the Stunner?

Posted By: Guest#5311 (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 11:24 AM

"I always put over anybody they asked me to put over"

And with that sentence you realise you should never believe a word that comes out of Hogan's mouth.

I think it was just after Metallica begged him to play bass for them. But of course way before he taught Rock how to do the people's eyebrow.

and hogan hes going to be a big nothing. hogan will call any company he goes into. he killed WCW AND He made TNA more crappier. and bret hart made wrestling more better to watch bret never killed any company. bret left to go to wcw hogan killed brets legacy. WCW didnt know how to use hitman cause hogan didnt want bret to go over him. hogan is a cock block. wrestling is in brets blood bret is #1. to quote DX Hogan we got 2 Words For You. SUCK IT!!!

Bret was always the better man ,in any point!Best storyteller & wrestler ,he was one of the Boys! Hogan was a Roid-Freak without any wrestling talent ..he was selfish and never did a job expect for one of his butt kissers! Bret will always be a real rolemodel and without a doubt the Greatest Wrestler and Champion of all time

OK, first off, to the idiot who posts numerous pro-TNA posts within a minute or two of each other, stop. Its obvious you're a TNA fan, so just post your opinion once and stop there.
Secondly, I'm guessing Hart wasn't dying to go to TNA, and Hulk saying he "blocked' him is just more of the recent SLEW of BS coming from Hogan's mouth. Embarassing.

LMMFAO..."he wishes he could have put over stone cold?" get the fuck outta here you has been steroid shooting s.o.b.....like they needed YOU to put stone cold over...seems like he did a good job of that himself...man hogan is so full of himself, lex luger should have hogan borrow the narcissist gimmick. what a sad sad man you are hogan

Posted By: The Truth (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 11:58 AM

In Bret's book he says his heat with Hulk stems from the Yokozuna deal. He thinks Hulk should have passed the torch to him and that's what Vince wanted but Hulk refused.

Bret has a logic problem here.

If that's what Vince wanted then why did Lex Luger slam Yoko on the aircraft carrier and go on the Lex Express tour?

The reality is Bret was only champ when he was the best of bad options, such as when Vince tried to make Lex the new Hulk and failed.

Bret doesn't get along with anybody who isn't as big a Bret Hart mark as he is...pathetic.

Posted By: Guest#8859 (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 12:01 PM

And here we have more of Hulk Hogan's revisionist history! Bret wasn't ready?? Bret was champion for seven months when you came back to WWF in 93! He beat Flair!! The point of him dropping the title to Yoko at WM9 was so Yoko could drop it to you and they could work a Bret/Hulk program. According to Bret's book, he even mentions the photo shoot for Summerslam 93 with Bret and Hulk having a tug-of-war with the title belt for the event posters.

And as for Warrior not being the man. Maybe he could have been and maybe he couldn't. Either way, you didn't do him any favors running around the WWF locker room from April of 1990 to January of 91 telling everyone Warrior wasn't the guy. Just like you did Bret...just like you did Goldberg...just like you did Roode...and just like you did to countless other wrestlers too numerous to mention. Why Hulk thinks anyone who's watched this stuff for the last twenty five years buys into a word he says is totally beyond comprehension. This is the same guy who changes Andre's WM3 weight eight times during a conversation. Sorry, I'm siding with Bret on this one!!

someone could have told hulk that its dark inside of the studio, he didnt need the shades.

This being Hulk Hogan I would believe maybe 1% of this shit. Hogan was a politicking asshole and I'm sure Bret has every reason to think Hulk's a dick. Hart may be a huge mark for himself but Hogan's ego has no limits. The only part of this interview where Hulk isn't distorting things is when he alludes to the fact that the Ultimate Warrior is an asshole.

Posted By: Zingy (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 12:13 PM

i completely believe hulk hogan blocked bret hart from coming into tna. the same way i believe hogan bodyslammed a 973lbs andre the giant in front of 800,000 at the rose bowl.

Hogan hasn't thought this one through yet. If he did, he would take credit for making Vince McMahon the success he became, who in turn was the one who put over Stone Cold. So Hulkster can go ahead and take credit for SCSA too!

good move hulk. so then bret went to wwe and reappeared the nite tna tried to restart the monday night war, drawing viewers away from you. and of course allow wwe to make tonnes of money on the new bret-hbk dvd. gud decision

So, Bret wanted to come to TNA "last year," well after he had already returned to the WWE and was on TV for several points throughout 2010...hmmm...something doesn't add up.

Posted By: Team J-Rod (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 12:32 PM

Hogan is so full of shit. The stuff about Bret is a lie almost from beginning to end. Hogan and Bret weren't ever friends.

Posted By: 420 (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 12:37 PM

Hogan basically cons VKM into letting him win the WWF title in what had to have been the cheapest ending to any WM to date after Hart already busted his ass to put over Yokozuna. Then Hogan decides that he's not going to defend the title until KOTR. No wonder McMahon had Yoko send him packing with the Squash special. Perhaps there may have been a Hogan/Hart program in the works but we'll never know.

What happened after that was clearly VKM's fault. In a logical world, Bret should have stepped in to go after his belt once again. But McMahon was looking for the next HOgan and thought he found it in Luger, who had lost just about any motivation he had for the business sometime during his run as a bodybuilder. Instead, Hart gets sidetracked with Jerry Lawler and doesn't go near the title again until WMX.

Perhaps if Hart and Hogan had a legitimate WWF program in 1993, where Hart is able to look like even more of a main eventer, then things might have been different in the mid 90s, instead of McMahon spending the decade trying for the next big thing (Yoko, Diesel, HBK, before finally striking paydirt with Austin. BTW, this was nothing on HBK as a performer at the time--but rather a reflection on his drawing power. He did well for himself, but wasn't able to elevate the title or the company--certainly not like Austin and later Rock did.

"I think most of my WCW run was doing jobs"

Tell that to Sting when u royally fucked him in the ass and screwed him at Starrcade, when that should have been the easiest booking decesion known to man and it turned into one big cluster fuck.

Posted By: Tipster (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 02:00 PM

Looking back now, it was the right move not to have Hogan lose to Bret. Not only was Bret not ready for it, Bret didn't deserve it.

It would have done nothing for WWE's bottom line, it would just feed Bret's ego that he got to beat Hogan.

Posted By: Burt Price (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 02:05 PM

I see you are conveniently forgetting how you completely messed up his time in WCW. You just said "he left". Really Hulk? you stopped him from becoming greater than you.

Made it through nine minutes and that was enough. What a delusional chronic lying jack off. Seriously did this guy take so many drugs it fucked his brain up. Hey stupid you were not in Austin's league period or Hart's you over rated incestuous pedophile.

I'm assuming their heat stemmed sometime before Hogan trained Kurt Angle in preparation for the 1996 Olympics, but after he taught Shawn Michaels the Sweet Chin Music

Posted By: JJ (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 02:42 PM

Hogan has always held others back while Bret has helped and elevated others.Bret is the one that did 2 great matches a night on ppv's not Hogan. Who can name 5 or more great hogan matches? Not me but how many can name 5 or more great Bret Hart matches.

Posted By: Bird C (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 02:49 PM

More of Hulk's revisionist history. his heat with bret has NOTHING to do with wrestlemania 9, or Bret in WCW...it's all because of TNA.

Hulk is out of his mind if he REALLY believes that. It's not like Bret could wrestle in TNA, he had a stroke and can't anymore. SO bret is mad at hogan because he couldn't be a figurehead in a B promotion??

Really Hogan? How about getting your head out of your ass and telling the truth for once. We already have heard from Bret on MULTIPLE occasions what his problem is with you and guess what...it has NOTHING to do with TNA.

Bret Hart has every right to be bitter. He was screwed by Vince, screwed in WCW, and Owen died. Yet he has sucked it up and forgiven Vince. Hulk needs to let go of the stupid politics and do what is best for the business, for once in his life.

MOST of his WCW run was doing jobs? WHAT?! He won the company's belt in his first fucking match, for Christ's sake.

This just might be one of the funniest things that any wrestler ever said.

Let's look at the facts:

Basically made Flair his bitch throughout 1994, not even letting it go to Starrcade so that his buddy Leslie could get the main event PPV on what was presumably WCW's version of WM (although WCW hadn't done a Starrcade card worhty of the name since the 80's).

Vader essentially gets embarrassed throughout 95, and instead of doing a job in a strap match, Flair wins by dragging Flair around.

Finally drops the WCW title, but via a DQ, which we didn't find out until after the fact when his turncoat manager had inserted a clause.

Him and buddy Savage win an 8 on 2 match at Uncensored, pretty much destroying the credibility of the Horsemen and the Dungeon of Doom.

Out of the graciousness of his heart, allowed Luger to carry the WCW title for five days or so when everyone knew Luger was going to job it back.

Didn't job to Sting without the screwiest of circumstances--multiple times, including a 99 Sting heel turn that the fans cheered.

Made Savage his bitch with a one day title run, not once but twice.

Got Bischoff to hire the useless Ultimate Warrior just so that Warrior could return the job from 8 years prior, which was about 6 years past the time anybody cared.

Pretty much killed any promise a feud with Kidman had in 2000.

The ONLY WCW wrestler that HOgan unabashedly did the job for was Goldberg, and I wouldn't have been at all surprised if Hogan wasn't trying like hell behind the scenes to get the rematch. But perhaps Goldberg is the one Hogan thinks about when he believes he jobbed all the time in WCW.

We didn't want Bret Fart, because he's old and out dated. Here in TNA we want only the hottest stars in wrestling today. Guys who the fans can relate with and get behind. It was evident that WWE would pick him up after he tried to sign with us. WWE does that a lot.

Posted By: Eric Bischoff (Guest)  on October 20, 2011 at 08:32 PM

You sound like a parrot reciting the Bret Hart party line. Have a cracker and shut the fuck up.

I hate Hogan, but I hate Bret more. Hogan made a lot of money and that's what wrestling is all about. And you have the nerve to call other people "marks". What a joke. "True wrestling" is that boring shit they do at the Olympics that no one watches, so you're the one who doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.

Posted By: The Truth (Guest) on October 20, 2011 at 11:41 AM

The truth is that you're a retard. "True wrestling" is about putting on a show and drawing a lot of people and selling a lot of tickets. I don't like Hogan, but few have been as successful as him.

Bret and his fans are the biggest marks I've ever seen. They think a guy in pink should be fucking taken seriously. It's hilarious.

So glad the business is dying and you'll be forced to watch UFC like everyone else. Then you'll get the real wrestling you claim to want, two guys rolling around on a mat for 10 minutes.

Also, none of you know a fucking thing that went on behind the scenes. You're just random fags on the internet, you've never even seen a wrestling locker room in real life.

Posted By: Guest#4935 (Guest)  on October 21, 2011 at 12:05 AM

I'm sorry to see that Hogan's only way to draw some attention in the last years is by bashing real, hard-working wrestlers.
Putting Austin over? LOL!! WHAT?
Austin wouldn't need to be put over by anyone, it was the match against Bret at WM XIII that made him, and both men, Bret AND Austin share this opinion. Shawn Michaels, one of the greatest ever, mocked Hogan at SummerSlam 2005 because Hogan refused to lose to him, and I applauded him for the way he oversold that match. That's what Hogan deserved, someone to put him in his place and get him to understand that the times had changed and that the audience want to see WRESTLING, not just a bulked up guy who rips his shirt off, moves around in slow-motion and does the same basic wrestling moves over and over again, and he doesn't even manage to be convincing!

I stopped reading anything about this man (Hogan) after watching his statement regarding John Graziano and how God wanted to teach Graziano a lesson. It's really frustrating to see that there are still people out there (including here) who deliberately choose to overlook such aspects and follow a man with absolutely no integrity, morals or talent.

Bret Hart wanted to join TNA, despite being in such great terms with the WWE? Not to mention that he always desliked TNA. LOL again!
Bret Hart is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be, matched only by HBK when it comes to wrestling ability and dedication, so there's no reason to defend him. Hogan sets his own suitcase on fire by attempting to bash wrestlers like Bret and Austin. Bret jealous of Hogan? More like the other way around. Simply pathetic.
